Fast Johnny Ringo AKA Prince

Prince is looking for his new person due to his owner changing disciplines. He is a sweetheart with a big personality and a true “in your pocket” nature. He previously competed in the jumpers up to 1m, but a tie-back injury and some trauma set him back and changed what he’s best suited for. He has spent the last phase of his career in a thoughtful, confidence-building program and has made tremendous progress.

He is currently going beautifully on the flat — walk/trot/canter with good basics. In 60 days this horse has overcome a bucking problem, is gaining confidence hacking out alone, and recently even gone back to popping over small fences in the arena. Prince is not for a beginner or nervous rider. He thrives with a soft, confident, and patient rider who understands sensitive horses. He still has a tendency to kick out when unsure or overfaced, so he needs someone tactful who can guide rather than push.

Typical thoroughbred that needs a well fit saddle, semi frequent bodywork/chiro, wears all 4 shoes, and is on a hoof supp and magnesium supp but otherwise does not require maintenance. He is happiest with access to turnout and friends and currently lives with a group of geldings in a dry lot with constant access to hay. No history of colic, choke, not a wind sucker, and generally does not struggle to keep weight on.
